A “real” walk

Posted on

Today we had a real walk. “Ottar”, my bosses said to me, “it´s time to prepare you for the real hikes”. I didn´t know what they meant but it sounded exciting. I´m still a young dog so they are a little careful with me although I think that isn´t necessary. I can manage the walks better then my bosses do! Two daypacks were waiting in the hall. The sun was shining and I was ready and full of energy.

The first 15 minutes was the same stretch of a normal walk, which we do more often, but when I turned left, as usual, my bosses continued straight on. I looked at them when they were passing by, surprised they lost their way. But when they continued walking in the wrong direction I decided to run after them. After all, what should they do without me to guide them?

So we went on, turned right and continued over forest trails and after almost 2 hours we came at “Fjällnora Friluftsområde”. Here we had a picnic. My bosses had coffee and I got water. I also got some treats but I was more interested in their sandwiches. Happily I got some small parts. That´s me, I look so cute that they can´t resist😊.

From here we continued our walk and after 1/2 an hour we came on a path I had been before. We walked in total 3,5 hours but that included the picnic and photo sessions. My bosses try to make pictures of me. I like to fool them! I sit on a stone, still and beautiful as a real photo model, but when they have their camera ready I jump away.

But then my bosses started cheating, the made a movie instead. You can find an example below.
