Hej! I´m eights months old today. Time flies when you have fun. It was quite a while I updated my blog so it´s time for some new information. For example that I´m already over 15 kilos. My bosses are afraid that I´ll eat too much due to my focus on food. This is an ongoing discussion with those silly bosses. It´s important that young dogs have sufficient access to food I tell them almost every day. On top of that, I´ve to walk with them every day; and not a small trip but at least 1 to 1,5 hours. Plus at least half an hour in the morning. Furthermore I´ve to chase all the birds, cats and butterflies (who dare to come on my territory ) so I need a substantial amount of food. I´m afraid this will remain a constant discussion with my bosses.
I also visited my friend Compass (you remember, the huge 3 year old husky). Compass has got a new friend, a German Shepherd (5 months old), called Låkta. This was fun.
With Easter we were in Skåne and visited Compass and Låkta. There was a lot of running and playing.
Compass is still huge and fast but I ran as fast as possible to follow. My bosses were surprised that I could ran so fast with my short legs. It was also the first time I made such a long car trip. Normally it is less than 30 minutes so this was quite a challenge. But I managed without any problems! With flying colors I´ve to say. But I still don´t like to get in the car. “We have to train you on jumping in the car” my bosses said. “When it´s warmer we will put our chairs behind the car and will sit there until you jump voluntarily in the car” they say to me. Most likely they will have excellent dog treat as well, just to encourage me. I´ll see but for now I try to avoid the car.
Låkta showed that it isn´t a problem att all. She jumped in and out without hesitating. But she is of course a German Shepherd and I´m a buhund.
